Social Ambitions – Anticipation
Swedish synth pop duo Social Ambitions returns with brand new material after their smash hit 2010 debut album “Almost Gone” that among other praise got nominated as Album Of The Year by the Swedish alternative Grammys at Manifestgalan. This EP is the result of Anders Karlsson and Mikael Arborelius evergoing intention of creating the perfect pop song as these five tracks clearly demonstrates.
Exciting melodies, brilliant lyrics and the most electronic beats anyone could possibly ask for in this day and age. The final track “Open Field” was intended to be recorded with a Stockholm gospel choir but time ran out. We’re sure you can imagine it when you hear the song and keep your fingers crossed – the label is working hard on making the band record an extended version of this epic anthem!
