Diskodiktator has been busy lately; not only have Johan and Magnus revamped a bunch of old songs (on the “I Will Always Come Back To You” EP released last year) but there was also a brand new single released on New Years Eve – the enigmatic “Jag river ditt namn”. To celebrate the release of the 100th single on the Electric Fantastic Sound label Diskodiktator fired up their trusted synthesizers, programmed some new beats and penned some of the most heartfelt lyrics in ages! Enter “Finast”!
A song that at first may look like any other love song, this is both haunting and promising as the band delivers doublespeak lines like “I will be standing there / When you fall”…
Also included on the single are two instrumental tracks and an exclusive remix by Hiltipop, that lifts the title track to yet a higher level with some added vocals.
“Finast” is taken from the forthcoming album “Det trötta hatets stad”.
