Neurobash have always operated like more than a band. Emerging in Southern Sweden in the mid-2000s, the project began with roots in electronic body music but quickly mutated into something broader, stranger and far more ambitious—part electro act, part art collective, part conceptual engine. With early core members including Per Nordahl, Johan Andersson, Anders Thomasson and later Daniel Brandt, Neurobash built a language where EBM force, experimental electronics and visual thinking could coexist without friction.
Their catalogue—spanning A Second Chance, Shallow Pool, Ladonian Incidents, Eslöv By The Sea, Spoiled and Antitype EP—documents a project in constant motion, equally at home in dark club territory and site-specific artistic contexts. That tension became especially clear through their connection to Ladonia, where the band’s work intersected with performance, place and contemporary art in ways few electronic acts even attempt.
And the story is not over: in 2026, Neurobash is back as a duo featuring Johan Höfler and Per Nordahl, carrying the project into a new chapter while preserving its taste for electronic force, conceptual ambition and boundary-pushing imagination. For audiences drawn to music that thinks as hard as it hits, Neurobash offer a rare proposition: electronic sound with muscle, imagination and a refusal to recognise the usual borders.
