I, Synthesist is the solo electronic vision of Chris Ianuzzi, a New York-based composer and songwriter whose work has always treated synth music as a space for invention rather than obedience to genre rules. Pop-oriented at heart but unafraid of detours into sound design, digital manipulation and more exploratory structures, the project brings old analogue instruments into dialogue with newer technologies in a way that feels curious, personal and slightly eccentric in the best sense. The songs are melodic enough to connect immediately, yet strange enough to keep unfolding after the first impression has passed.

The album Art Of Survival, later followed by Art Of Survival Remixes and the single Connect, presents a project with a rare combination of geek precision and emotional reach. There are traces of synthpop, futurepop and more cinematic electronic writing in the material, but what matters most is the authorial voice holding it all together. Rather than chasing retro purity or club orthodoxy, I, Synthesist build a world where hooks, atmospheres and ideas all carry equal weight. For listeners drawn to intelligent electronic pop with personality, imagination and a distinctly individual point of view, the project remains a compelling outlier.
